Well everyone knows about Jessica Alba. Here she’s at the Inauguration of Barack Obama, and while she’s being interviewed she tries to me a smart ass it well kinda back fires at her.

Here she actually is the one interviewing the reporter of TMZ. So she asks him “What do you believe Barack Obama’s greatest Characteristic going into office.”

So the guy cant answer and she say’s ” Be neutral,…. Be Sweden about it.”

Yet she tries to be a smart ass. And of course Sweden isn’t neutral cuz’ it has troops in Afghanistan. She should have actually said ” Be Switzerland about it”

And she again says that Bill o’Reilly is an a-hole.

Well since I have not been able to blog about stuff since I’m in school. Well in my spare time I actually read some books for a change. Since everyday after school I usually play with my PSP, or eat, or the occassional sleep. Well i actually found these following books very very intersting.

The 39 Clues

The 39 Clues

The 39 Clues is all about Dan and Amy Cahill which just discovered at their favorite Grandmother’s Funeral Grace Cahill, that the Cahill family is the most influential and powerful family in the History. Because in the story even the 4 founding fathers (Those who are on Mount Rushmoore) are from the Cahill Family. To site some Examples: Anne Oakley, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Harry Houdini. Even Steven Speilberg was mentioned.

So in the funeral the secret of the Cahill Family was revealed. And Dan and Amy had to make a decision to take the $1,000,000 or their fist clue. In all there were 7 teams that paticipated. Their adventures take them all over the world in search of all the 39 Clues which unlocks the greatest Treasure in the history of the World.

Well this series actually did a good marketing technique. Not only was there the book itself, May i remind you there are 10 books. Well anyway they also sold a card pack which you need to play the online game or the board game. The second book was released on december 2 2008, and the 3rd book will be scheduled for release on march.

One thing to look forward to is the movie, because famous director Steven Speilberg. Yes Steven Speilberg bought the rights last year. And the movie is planned to start shooting this year.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid

Well this book talks about Greg Heffley. A kid in Middle School who’s Mom bought him a Diary, which he always specifically indicates is a Journal. Well he tells all about his school and personal life in the book.

The 2nd Book

In the second book his brother Rodrick found his first Journal which has Greg’s most embarrassing summer experience. Though this second “Journal talks about his Summer Vacation.

He also shares some University scenes. Which i heard that he studied in the University of the Philippines. which because of that fact my sister always likes to read it because she is a scholar at University of the Philippines Mindanao.

My Last Days of Freedom…

Oh Crap!. The Christmas break is over… Yesterday me and my friends saw “One Night Only”, Today I’m just wasting my time at home…

So On December 20th of 2008 was the start of our vacation. Still i was wasting my time at home doing nothing all day. Yet somedays I go out and go to internet cafes chatting, playing games, even sometimes malling and other stuff.

So Yesterday we saw ‘One Night Only” which was an entry in the Metro manila Film Festival (MMFF). It was a R-13 movie, so gladly i saw the movie. Yes that rating was very appropriate rating for the movie, cuz’ there were sort of “green” situation in some parts. The movie had a plot of 5 women sleeping with men. 2 women were sleeping with the same guy. 1 girl was sleeping with the dad of the other girl. And lots of surprises in the end.

Today I’m just sitting here bored to death awaiting monday for stupid classes again.

Firstly the Jocks,

The Jocks

Ass holes, who think they are the hottest most adorable people in the world, when they have small dicks and cant preform good in bed because they think too much of themselves. That’s why cheerleaders don’t go out with the same jock twice, cuz’ they all have to small a dick, or sometimes they do go out with the same jock cuz’ they think it grew overnight….lol….dumb jocks

Anyone who plays sports and is in a varsity team is considered a jock. Jocks do tend to bully nerds and get the slutty girls. The Jocks are the guys who are always voted Prom King (usually the Captain of the team.). Jocks are the opposite of nerds. They are the so-called “Alpha Male” of the school.

Cheerleaders

Dancing Sluts

Girls that can’t play sports so they yell at games and annot those who can play sports. Can be spotted because their skirts go up their asses.

Girls who have a tendency to clap their hands and/or scream randomly.

Said girls are also prone to sporadic bursts of hyperactivity and/or giggling.

Cheerleaders are most likely the most annoying people that you will ever meet and i want to shoot them all… most of thenm are preps and make fun of all people who arent cheerleaders you usually dont like them unless you are a jock which is also a fag

Cheerleaders are dancers that have gone retarded.

A group of people who dance and yell out catchy chants to get your high school excited about losing another football game

Yes these are the typical facts associated with cheerleaders. They are the girls that think that they are God’s gift to men. And these girls are destined to be the Prom Queen (usually the captain).

Nerds

The Next Bill Gates?

A person who gains pleasure from amassing large quantities of knowledge about subjects often too detailed or complicated for most other people to be bothered with.

Often mistaken for Geeks, who aspire to become nerds, yet lack the intelligence, and end up giving nerds a bad name due to their poor social skills.

Non-nerds are often scared of nerds, due to their detailed knowledge, and therefore seemingly high levels of intelligence – and subsequently denegrate them as much as possible as often as possible.

Nerds exist covertly within the fabric of society, often choosing to ‘nerd it up’ in private or in the company of fellow nerds. It is for this reason they are feared the most – unlike geeks, who are easily identified, nerds can only be found out when casual conversation reaches a subject that they like nerding.

The group of people who will most likely make a life changing invention that will radically change the world. the computer was invented by a nerd. the macintosh/apple and windows were invetned by nerds. jocks and normal people have no claim to civilization except for being the hard labor. nerds actually do the thinking.

They also have this idea that yes in their highschool days the jocks will get the girls. But in the future they will get them, cuz’ they would be rich and can have all the girls they want.

Geeks

The Geek

Not to be confused with Nerd. A geek does not have to be smart, a Geek is someone who is generally not athletic, and enjoys Video Games; Comic Books; being on the internet, and etc.

The term “geek” originally referred to the carnival performers whose act consisted of biting the heads off chickens and eating glass. Over time it came to be applied to anyone who got paid to do work considered odd or bizarre by mainstream society.

The term now enjoys a special status within the technical community, particularly among particularly knowledgable computer programmers. To identify oneself as a “geek” indicates a recognition that most people still consider programming computers to be a bizarre act, along with a certain fierce satisfaction in being very good at their inglorious profession.

That most software geeks now easily earn twice as much as the average laborer just sweetens their defiant embrace of the term.

Note: Unlike the word “nerd,” which is always pejorative, “geek” often carries a positive connotation when used by one of the group. The use of the term by outsiders is considered insulting.

Dorks

What a Dork!!

Someone who has odd interests, and is often silly at times. A dork is also someone who can be themselves and not care what anyone thinks.

An individual who is keenly interested in and good at mathematics, science, and technology, and applies mathematical and scientific principles to everyday occurrences, while at the same time being loveable and very personable, often having many friends due to wittiness, often loves video games. Not to be confused with Nerd or Geek.

Often used interchangeably with nerd or geek.
Dorks are typically more noted for their quirky personality and behavior rather than their interests or IQ which may or may not be on level with traditional geeks or nerds. They tend to be more humorous and extroverted and don’t mind laughing at themselves or with others at themselves, as the case may be.

After the 1990s, the term dork tended to specifically refer to a person who often shared the characteristics of geeks or nerds but were not ostracized as a result. Also, while old school geeks and nerds tend to continue to accept an “outsider” status and maintain an elite club mentality amongst themselves, dorks generally tend to do the opposite, hence a current preference with the mainstream for dorks over geeks or nerds.

Band Geeks

Bandies

A person involved in band who enjoys it so much that they constantly have band on their minds.

Known to date other “band geeks,” roll their feet outside of band, generally have random and/or strange thought processes, are generally some of the coolest and most talented people ever, while some are quite possible the scariest people ever.

Person who:
1. plays one or more musical instruments well
2. eats, lives, sleeps in bandroom
3. considers band the most important class of day and frequently skips other classes to go to it
4. Has CPS (chronic playing syndrome) but does not suffer, rather enjoys every minute
5. Dates exclusivly band (or other musical: e.g. chorus) people
6. Understands band jokes
7. 99% chance of a horribly peverted mind
8. Worships band director/ drum major as god/jesus
9. Is in marching band and loves it more than life itself
10. has seen a lot of the other people in band and guard

These are people who are musically inclied yet choose to be in a marching band. Which in the Jock and Cheerleader standards are called Geeks also.

Summing it up again that there are alot of cliques in school. It is these cliques in which we can develop our own talents, Yet in our search of personal improvement yet sometimes we risk personal humiliation from the upper cliques.

For Easier understanding of Nerds, Geeks and Dorks:

Geeks have both Social Skills and Technical Skills
Nerds have no Social Skills and rely on inventing some CRAP to make them rich
Dorks both have no Social and Technical Skills, they rely on their weird hobbies

The Emo Fad…

So again I’m here posting another blog entry. Only this one talks about the so called “EMO” people of the world.

Though I’m not only talking about the “EMO” population here. I’m also gonna talk about some groups that can be related with the EMOs. These are the “Punks”, and the “Goths”

The So called "EMO"

Well according to www.urbandictionary.com

Emo

Genre of softcore punk music that integrates unenthusiastic melodramatic 17 year olds who dont smile, high pitched overwrought lyrics and inaudible guitar rifts with tight wool sweaters, tighter jeans, itchy scarfs (even in the summer), ripped chucks with favorite bands signature, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least 3/5 ths of the face at an angle.

::sniff sniff:: “The Demise of the Siberian Traintracks of Our Rusty Forgotten Unblemished Love” sounds like it would make a great emo band name. ::cry::

And they also said that “Girls like sensitive guys”

YEAH RIGHT!!!!

Are you stupid or sumthing?! Girls dont like guys who always cry. cuz’ they look kinda gay.

Emo’s can be distigushed by these characteristics:

Parted long Bangs
Black Skin-tight outfit
Piercings anywhere
Skinny “GAY” Jeans
A studded belt
Messenger/ Sling bag

So summing up the “EMO” population. Well since these people are suicidal and so called “emotional’. Well why don’t they just slit their wrist/ throat to end it. So there will no more “EMOs’ in the world DUHHHH!!!!!!

Punk

The Rocker

The wide-spread basic understanding/definition of “punk” includes a basic wanting to be different, is who is different.

A “real punk” will never stereotype themselves. To put this in perspective, have you ever heard a cheerleader say “Oh my god, I’m SO prep, that girl over there dressed in all pink is SUCH a wannabe poser.” … I doubt it…if you have, I pity you…greatly….for even knowing OF such a person. When someone’s says “Oh my god, look at that POSER!!!!” Does that honestly make them “punk” and therefore “cool?”

The name also came from punk rock. A form of hard-driving rock ‘n’ roll originating in the 1970s, characterized by harsh lyrics attacking conventional society and popular culture, and often expressing alienation and anger. Rock music with deliberately offensive lyrics expressing anger and social alienation; in part a reaction against progressive rock. (there are other definitions of this on this site way better than this one) This is what started the whole thing. But punk rock goes AGAINST stereotyping, (that would be the conventional society and popular culture) and calling oneself “punk” is just that.

There are “real punks” and posers. They ARE two separate categories. The above just proves that there are a LOT more posers then there appear to be.

First of all: “real punks”
“Real punks” are technically punk rockers.
A performer or follower of punk rock music.
However, in today’s hypo-heterogeneous music gene pool, there is hardly any real punk music, as a definition. It’s always “punk rock,” “punk pop” whatever. They all count. Punk (as defined above) is a type of music defined by LYRICS and ATTITUDE.

This means that punk rockers are listeners of punk music, with punk music categorized by the message the band is sending.

This is how we get posers.

“Punks” tend to dress a little crazy (crazy to “normal” people, the rest just think blue hair is cool) but it never really became a “fashion” until certain celebrities started calling it that. (Avril, Hilary)

Yes. Sadly, all those old school, before it became popular, punks were screwed over by, you guessing it, POPULAR CULTURE. Suddenly it became “cool” to be “punk.” To dress different, and do crazy things with ones hair and makeup.

This is not to say that everyone who does this, even younger people (and by younger I’m referring to people who couldn’t possibly have been punk rockers before, as in they weren’t born in the 1970’s,) are posers. You are a punk rocker if you listen to punk music. It doesn’t matter what you dress like.

How you DRESS has NOTHING to do with being punk. It means that either A) you honestly like the clothing style that has been termed “punk” and you wear it because of that or B) You’re a POSER trying to be cool and you think your clothes will do that for you and you’re no better than preps who obsess with clothes to become popular and think that other people’s clothing defines them just like it will define you as “punk” and “cool.”

Punks by definition, both above and social don’t WANT to be cool. They want to be themselves and rebel against anything they feel is suppressing them.

The Punk culture actually isn’t pretty bad cuz’ they just wanna be themeselves and rebel. And they show their own way of expression in their clothing and music.

Goth

The Dark

Someone who likes the darker side of things. They usually listen to death metal and goth music, such as Dismember and Bauhaus. Marilyn Manson is NOT goth. He’s just…weird. Real goths are not depressing and suicidal like the posers you see at Hot Topic. Goths are fun to be around and aren’t afraid to laugh at themselves every so often. They don’t worship Satan and aren’t evil despite what some ignorant people might say. Goths don’t all dress alike either. They like to create their own unique style. Goths are also very intelligent and creative. A lot of them are writers and artists. Goths DON’T envy the popular people. They are what they are because it makes them happy. Goths would rather stay who they are and be among the so called “freaks” than be like everyone else and be popular. They understand that there are more important things in life than popularity, and usually succeed in life while the popular ones don’t become much of anything.

If someone becomes “goth” because they couldn’t get any friends or are depressed and angry all the time, they are most likely a poser.

Well the Goth guys are actually more better than the EMOs cuz’ although they are sometimes related with the fact that they are so-called Satanists. People do think that but Goths are actually like Punks in a way. In the color scheme of how they dress and their rebellion towards the general public.

So summing up the facts.

Killerbee’s Top 30 Countdown

Killerbee.fm 89.1 is my favorite radio station. So I listened and caught their annual Top 30 Countdown of the year. Anyway there were alot of good entries in the list. And some were so bad for me.

I’ve been listening to this station for about 5 years or so. So I really know what to expect when there’s a countdown. Whether its just a weekly list, or this yearly countdown

Well I’m just gonna discuss the Top 3 cuz’ I can’t remember the listing.

Number 3 on the Countdown was “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz. For me yeah it really deserved a place in the countdown itself, cuz’ I mean many people do request this son. Even I have it on my playlist once in a while, usually because it has a balanced tempo, cuz’ it actually does go fast sometimes then it goes back to it’s original tempo. So for me it really did good at 3rd place.

Number 2 was “Always Be My Baby” by no other but David Cook. This year’s American Idol winner. This song was originally sung by Mariah Carey. Though he made it into another genre of music. From Soul and R&B to Rock. Now that transformation of genres was what made him and this song famous. So I think whenever you ask people about David Cook they will assosciate him with this song directly.

The number 1 for this year’s countdown was the painful music “Low” by Flo Rida. Yes this song was pretty good, but some people grew tired of it eventually. It became popular because at the time the hip-hop look and style was very rampant from even elementary students to highschool students. Though here in Mindano this song was later made into bisaya which was popular.

The After Party…..

After the feasting of the relatives. Some go back to their houses to feast and gourge themselves again.

For me I decided to spend a night at my Lolo’s house. Of course what do I expect… there is still food. Haha..

Still after eating. We watched a little TV, waiting for a supposed to be showing of the Transformers movie.

Yet to our demise there was no showing… So the two decided to sleep. While my uncle borrowed the PSP i brought along with me. While I slept this morning at 2:30 in the morning. Awaiting to awake and leave again for another party.

Atlast the day almost all people are waiting for. December the 24th the day before Christmas. It is a tradition for all Filipinos to spend the night at a house being together a gourging food like theres no tommorow…

A well known and popular brand of footwear. Everywhere you turn in malls you always see atleast on person wearing one. Wether it’s a high-cut or low-cut shoe it’s still pretty popular.

Today I experience buying my very first shoe. A Basic Black style by Chuck Taylor.

Any way this evening my uncle went by the house cuz’ like theres a party at the house. Well he showed me how to do a sort of checkered design on my laces. Kinda like the shoes of the “Vans” brand…..
